Illness Policy: We would ask that any mom who feels that their child is sick, please not attend any of the activities, or if your child begins showing signs of illness while at an activity, you would please take them home until he or she is well. This will ensure your child a speedy recovery and prevent any of the other children getting sick as well.
MOMS Night Out
One of the most anticipated events of the month is MOMS Night Out. Not only is it a chance for Dad to spend some quality time with the kids, but it is a time when you get to have fun with the other moms without someone hugging onto your knee wanting a sippy cup. MNOs can includ: Bowling, Game Night, Wine and Cheese Tasting, and Movie Night
Lunch Bunch
We love getting together at some of our favorite spots for good company and a quick bite to eat. And when we are feeling adventerous, we like to try out a place we haven't eaten before or some of the more exotic eateries.
Playdates
Getting the kids together to play and work off some of that energy is always fun, both for children and moms. While the kids have fun playing together, we visit.
Park Day
We love going to the park when the weather is nice. Also, when the weather is not so nice, we meet at one of the nearby malls' play centers. It works just as well, without all of that pesky fresh air.
Field Trips
Learning and having fun is what being a kid is all about. That is why we try to do things where the kids can discover the world around them and have a little fun doing it.
Cooking Club
This is a chance for MOMS to really show their stuff in the kitchen. Each month we pick a theme or dish, and each person brings either their favorite recipe, or one that they have been itching to try but have needed a few willing guinea pigs to try it out on before serving it to the mother-in-law. We then taste each others' creations and swap recipes.
Scrapbooking Club
This is the chance to really get creative. Expressing our creative side while showing off our families, pets, and activities in our scrapbooks! Weither your a seasoned scrapbooker or just starting out this crop event is one you don't want to miss!
